Brew your own ale raises £27,000 for Blackburn Youth Zone

Share

The charity auction held in aid of Blackburn Youth Zone in association with Thwaites has raised over £27,000.

The prize offered the chance for one lucky bidder to brew their own beer at the Thwaites Brewery!

Malcolm Ireland from Napthens Solicitors in Blackburn placed the winning bid and brewed his own 4.6% APV beer, Exhibit A.

Malcolm said about the experience ‘“The Blackburn Youth Zone does great work and I would like to thank Thwaites for making this such a successful event. Seeing our own ale brewed up close and personal was fantastic. We were guided every step of the way to make it a really tasty and drinkable brew that I hope will prove popular.”
